Established in 2001, PHRANAKORN FILM began with their first production released in 2002 for domestic audiences titled, “Headless Hero (1)” which hit the box office of 72 million baht (1.9 million USD), the total sum that broke the record of overall titles released in theatres during that year. In the year 2005, “The Holy Man1” was the only title of that year making a record breaking total of over 141 million Baht (3.7 million USD) and in the year of 2008, “Holy Man 2” is still on the top of Thai box office as ever did again. .

For increasing more supplies for domestic home video market in Thailand, PHRANAKORNFILM has established an affiliate of the company “ METRO PRO DISC ” as the home video distributor. Now we are one of the biggest distributors in Thai home video business. Beside our own products we distribute other studio movies also. In the future we plan to import some good international movies to bigger share market than we did today.
